What it is
Aryanna is a desktop screen recorder for people who teach, support customers, or hand work over to teammates. Record a task, use AI to draft the instructions from selected screenshots and actions, then review and export a written guide and a captioned video. Every guide step stays editable.
Product stage
Early development. Recording, click tracking, frame capture, editing, and document and video export have been tested on Windows. A Mac test has captured screen frames and opened them in the guide editor. Mac document and video exports still need separate testing. The source build is available to try, with Mac setup instructions included. The AI integration has automated checks and reference examples; live guide quality, latency, and cost still need evaluation.
Aryanna is an independent product in development and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. The current build has no Aryanna subscription. AI requests use your own Claude API account.

I’m Ary, the maker of Aryanna. I’m building it for the tasks that are easier to show on screen than explain in a message.
I want one recording to give someone a video they can watch and written steps they can follow while they work. Both should stay editable before you share them.

What it cannot do yet
- Record audio or narration. The guide comes from what was on screen, not what was said.
- Export MP4. Video export is WebM, which most players and YouTube accept.
- Track clicks on macOS without the Accessibility permission. It falls back to capturing on screen changes.
- Track click positions inside a single window capture. Pick a screen for zoom.
- Reliably read tiny or cut-off text. The model is instructed to flag details it cannot confirm; check the draft against its screenshots.
- Guarantee a correct guide. It is a draft; the review screen exists so you fix it before sharing.
Planned
- Signed macOS and Windows installers.
- A published accuracy report from the evaluation set, run live on several models.
- MP4 export and an optional narration transcript.
- A hosted way to share a guide by link.
